Complete Urine Analysis

Urine analysis checks the appearance and density, chemicals such as sugar and protein, and — under the microscope — pus cells, blood and crystals.

Important with burning or frequent urination, and to follow diabetes, blood pressure and pregnancy.

Preparation before the test

• First morning urine is best.
• Clean the area well and collect the midstream urine in the sterile lab container.
• Women: avoid period days if possible.
